These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DFW Outdoor Pros at https://dfwoutdoorpros.com and the outdoor-contractor directory we operate for the Dallas–Fort Worth area (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The directory & accuracy

Listings are compiled from publicly available sources and business submissions. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that any information — including ratings, hours, or contact details — is complete or current. Always confirm details directly with the business.

2. No endorsement

Rankings are editorial opinions based on publicly available signals. Inclusion in the directory is not a warranty, guarantee, or endorsement of any contractor. You are solely responsible for vetting, hiring, and contracting with any company you find here, and any agreement you enter into is strictly between you and that company.

3. Featured placements (advertising)

"Featured" listings are paid advertising and are clearly labeled as such. Payment for a Featured listing does not affect the editorial ranking of any other listing.

4. Claiming a listing

By submitting a claim or update request, you represent that you are the owner of the business or authorized to act on its behalf, and that the information you provide is accurate. We may verify claims and may decline or revoke a claim at our discretion.

5. Featured listings, billing & cancellation

• Featured listings are offered on a recurring subscription basis at the price and terms presented at the time of purchase. Applications may be subject to availability.
• You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the applicable recurring fee until you cancel. Fees are billed in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You are responsible for the content you provide for your listing (including photos and descriptions), you represent that you have the rights to it, and you grant us a license to display it as part of the Service. We may remove content or listings that violate these Terms.

6. Communications consent

If you provide your contact information and consent, you agree we may contact you by email, phone, and SMS/text message about your listing, request, and related offers. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping or copying listings in bulk, interfering with the Service's operation, submitting false or fraudulent information, or using the Service in violation of any applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, except for normal personal use of the directory.

9. Third-party links & services

The Service links to third-party websites and businesses. We are not responsible for the content, products, or services of any third party, including work performed by any contractor listed in the directory.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or from any transaction with a contractor listed in the directory. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and your continued use of the Service means you accept them.
